Southern Kaduna made history with the official launch and inauguration of the APC 1 Million Solidarity Votes Movement (Southern Kaduna Zone), a landmark initiative aimed at strengthening the unity and grassroots structures of the All Progressives Congress (APC) across the region.
The event, which attracted party faithful, political leaders, and stakeholders from different parts of Southern Kaduna, signified a renewed commitment towards mobilising support for the APC and promoting peace, inclusion, and development within the zone.
The newly inaugurated leadership was tasked with coordinating grassroots mobilisation and ensuring the realization of the movement’s ambitious goal of delivering one million solidarity votes for the APC.
The occasion was graced by several distinguished personalities, including the Special Guests of Honour such as Barr. James A. Kanyip, Commissioner of Justice, Kaduna State; Mrs. Jummai Bako, Head of Service, Kaduna State Government; Hon. Peter Tanko Dogara, Executive Chairman of Jema’a Local Government Area; Comrade Jerry Adams, Executive Chairman of the Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS); and Hon. AbdulMalik Muhammad Durunguwa, alongside other prominent political leaders, government officials, youth and women groups, and party stakeholders.
Speakers at the event emphasized the importance of unity and collective responsibility in advancing the developmental aspirations of Southern Kaduna and Kaduna State at large. They called on members and supporters to remain committed to the ideals of the APC and work together towards building a stronger and brighter future for the region.
The event concluded with a strong message of solidarity and a renewed determination by party members to consolidate the gains of the APC and ensure greater participation in the democratic process across Southern Kaduna.
