GIWA PROGRESSIVES FORUM APPOINTS ENGR (DR) SIMON NUHU YASHIM AS ITS GRAND PATRON

The Giwa Progressives Forum has appointed Engr (Dr) Simon Nuhu Yashim as its Grand Patron, in a move aimed at strengthening collaboration and political mobilisation ahead of the forthcoming general elections.
The leadership of the forum on Monday presented a formal letter of appointment to Engr (Dr) Yashim, recognising his leadership, experience and commitment to progressive political engagement.
The delegation also presented a letter expressing interest in affiliating with the Uba Salama Mobilization Forum (USM Forum), signalling the group’s desire to work closely with the mobilisation structure.
Responding, Engr (Dr) Yashim expressed appreciation for the confidence reposed in him and welcomed the proposed partnership.
He assured the leadership of the Giwa Progressives Forum of his openness to collaboration, while urging members to demonstrate commitment, unity and dedication towards achieving their collective objectives ahead of the forthcoming general elections.
The development is expected to further strengthen Giwa and beyond.
